About The 50A Strip Link Fuse
The Durite classic style small strip link fuses are historically used for surge protection, usually found mounted on vehicle fuse panels and when used inline on automotive cables and vehicle wiring.
The ratings for 50A continuous use is based on a circuit constant load being always-on, the 100A blow rating is based on the circuit load being intermittent.
