About The Yellow 20A Low Profile MINI Spade Fuse

The smaller and compact type of fuse from the Durite automotive blade fuse family, the yellow coloured MINI blade low profile fuse offers a 20A continuous load protection and has a space-saving characteristic in the form of the retracted type brass blades.

The ratings for 20A continuous use is based on a circuit constant load being always-on, the 40A blow rating is based on the circuit load being intermittent.

Fuse Ratings

Continuous ratings for fuses are based on the fact they should blow at the amperage when the circuit is always-on or plugged in. The blow ratings for fuses are based on the fact that the circuit is intermittent and therefore the fuse is required to heat up before blowing.
