 Albright SW85-315 60Vdc single-acting 'Normally Closed' contactor, continuous.

  • The SW85 has been designed for direct current loads, particularly motors used on electric vehicles such as industrial trucks. Developed for both interrupted and uninterrupted loads, the SW85 is suitable for switching Resistive, Capacitive and Inductive loads.
  • Mounting bracket (fitted): 2126-48A.

About Normally Closed Continuous (CO.) SW85 Solenoids

 Normally Closed, Continuous contactors by design are for an ‘Always On’ line function and break only when the coil is energised; they make and break slower than intermittent solenoids and are recommended for prolonged contact periods.

 The SW85 features single pole double-breaking main contacts with Silver-alloy tips, which are weld resistant, hardwearing and have excellent conductivity. The SW85 has M8 stud main terminals and 6.3mm spade coil connections. Mounting is via M4 tapped holes, or mounting brackets supplied fitted. Mounting can be horizontal or vertical. When vertical, the M8 contact studs should point downwards.
