About the Green 40A MCASE Cartridge Fuse
The green 40 amp MCASE cartridge style fuse has female terminals for push fit onto 2.8mm male terminals in fuse boxes. The miniaturized footprint allows for an optimal use of space. It is a time-delayed 32v maximum fuse, designed to handle inrush currents.
Ratings for 40A continuous use is based on a circuit constant load (always on), the 80A blow rating is based on the circuit load being intermittent.
