About The 1A 20mm Glass Radio Fuse
The Durite classic style glass fuse with 5.0mm diameter nickel-plated brass caps is historically used for surge protection, usually found mounted on vehicle PCBs and when used inline on automotive cables and vehicle wiring.
The ratings for 1A continuous use are based on a circuit constant load being always-on, and the 2A blow rating is based on the circuit load being intermittent.
