About the 250 Amps MEGA Type Fuses
Durite's aftermarket range of 250A Pink bolt-down MEGA type fuses. The heavy-duty link fuses are ideal for heavy gauge automotive cable and wiring, especially for battery and alternator protection on vehicles and industrial material handling equipment.
The 250A continuous rating gives high current circuit protection on auto electric equipment close to the battery source, including heavy gauge automotive cables and vehicle wiring on a circuit that is passing current (always on). The 500A blow rating is for intermittent circuits where the copper fuse requires to heat up from cold before blowing.
