About the 0-985-00 70.00mm² Black Double-insulated Electric Cable

 Arc Components Limited presents the 0-985-00, Durite's heavy-duty 460A Black automotive cable, or arc welding cable as it is sometimes called. It is ideal for your vehicle's connection to the battery and electrical equipment with a higher/heavy-duty load requirement.
 This high-quality double Ethylene-propylene rubber sheathed electrical wire with a high-temperature PETP tape separator is supplied in a 10m coil, perfect for storage in your van or workshop. It is 70.0mm² (00 or 2/0 AWG) and features 2214 strands of 0.20mm separate copper wires bound together in an insulated rubber sleeve, with an outside diameter of 16.3mm. It meets all necessary standards for electrical equipment wiring for domestic and commercial vehicles, including BS638 part 4 1996. It has good overall resistance to petrol, diesel and lubricating oils. It is suitable for continuous current loads to a maximum of 460 Amps.

 The Durite 0-985-00 is commonly used as a conductor wire on high-amperage 12V-24V batteries and electrical equipment's heavy-duty wiring.
