Albright SW120A-31 24 Volts DC double pole switch solenoid with an auxiliary microswitch.

  • The SW120 has been designed for Direct Current loads, typical applications include motors as used on small electric vehicles such as light industrial trucks and powered cars. These contactors are not polarity sensitive thus they can be used for switching Alternating Current loads.
  • Repair kit: 2159-170

Associated products

  • 2159-18B Fixed Contact Stud.
  • 2180-62 Moving Contact.
  • 2159-170 Contact Kit (4 x fixed contacts, 1 x moving contact).

About Continuous (CO.) SW120 Solenoids

Continuous contactors by design are predominantly used for drive functions on vehicles, they make and break slower than intermittent solenoids and are recommended for prolonged contact periods.

  • The SW120 features double pole double-breaking main contacts with Silver-alloy tips, which are weld resistant, hardwearing and have excellent conductivity. The SW120 has M8 stud main terminals and 6.3mm spade coil connections. Mounting is via M5 tapped holes or mounting brackets, either supplied fitted, or as separate items. Mounting can be horizontal or vertical, when vertical the M8 contact studs should point upwards.
Interrupted Current: The opening and closing on load with frequent switching (resulting in increased contact resistance).
Uninterrupted Current: No or infrequent load switching requirements (maintains a lower contact resistance).
