About The 12N (12V, Normal) Socket Connector

 The Durite 12N (12Vdc, Normal) metal socket connector is manufactured to ISO 1724 specifications for basic caravan and trailer lighting. The connector is a standalone lighting connector and is the vehicle receptacle socket for a 12N plug. The unit is often used alongside the later 12S connector, which is utilised for extended auxiliary functions.

 The eighth terminal allows for a light cut-out option for the vehicle's fog lights, switching them off when towing. Ideal for caravans, trailers, and horseboxes.
