Tachometer Wiring

Green: connect to the coil low tension (negative) or CB terminal of the ignition coil.
Black: connect to negative or earth (negative earth systems only).
Red: connect to any ignition controlled fused supply.

Lamp Wiring

Orange: connect to the vehicle panel lamp supply (after the fuse).
Black: connect to earth.

For positive earth systems: reverse the black and red wire connections so that the red is connected to earth (ground) and black to the ignition on fused supply, the lamp connections will be unaffected. This is not guaranteed to work in all situations, and may require manufacturer contact before buying for use on positive earth systems.
