About The Battery Filler Bottle

 The principle of operation is that the spout is depressed, opening the filler fully, and the distilled water is added until the electrolyte level rises to meet the end of the filler spout, blocking the airway into the bottle and stopping the flow, the filler is lifted off, and the spring-loaded valve shuts.

Product Modifications

 22/11/2007, historical mentions go out to Mr Chris Wyles, who identified a minor issue with the bottle and contributed to the resulting solution. While testing the flow stop feature in a glass of water, Chris found the flow did not stop when the water passed the stopping point; the flow only slowed down to a trickle, which affected the product's usefulness in certain unique applications.
As a result of joint findings, the brand now supplies an O ring (28mm inside diameter by 3mm thick) with the bottle, which sits in the cap and aids the ability to stop the flow.
